Windows 10 new taskbar for gaming is rolling out
XBOX Game Bar version 5.420.9252.0 is available now to assist you freeing up resources in Windows 10 and enjoying PC games without lagging or running slow.
Microsoft has begun rolling out this new XBOX Game Bar task manager from this week via Microsoft Store.
When you install this Game Bar, it will display a “What’s New – October” message that explains how you can use the new resources task manager widget.
“The new Resources widget helps you identify and manage which apps are using system resources like CPU, GPU, RAM and Disk. At a glance, or digging into the details, be sure you’re making the most of your system without leaving the game,” Microsoft states in the release notes for Xbox Gamebar 5.420.9252.0.
You will see the list of all running applications and background processes when you click on the resource button. Also, the Task Manager will tell you about the CPU, GPU and DISK utilization by each and every listed process. If any processes you find affecting your gaming performance, you can click on X button for their termination.
So, this new resource will be an excellent tool for you as from now you will not have to the game access a list of running processes and tweak performance while gaming.
