Microsoft Teams Becomes More Interactive With New Live Reactions, Chat Bubbles, And More
The new added features in Teams meetings will make it really a lot more interactive than ever.
Since many of individuals nowadays continues to work from home, Mcrosoft Teams is also working to enhance its features to allow its home-working users to attend virtual meetings. According to the company, a several new features or functions will be added to Teams later this year. Among those new to come features, live reactions, chat bubbles, speaker attribution, translation for captions, etc are some of the noticeable ones.
So, if you are user of Teams, you will be now able to send emojis to presenter. Means, you can express your feelings to something like choosing a thumbs-up emoji, heart, and many more, which will appear on square on meeting screen. Also, the Microsoft is preparing chat discussions to be easier to surface while meeting by putting chat bubbles over participants’ square when they send something.
In addition to all these, a new bigger feature is also to get added to Teams caption feature. According to company, it will add speaker attribution to captions, allowing users to know actually who is talking. Moreover, the company is also planning to add more other features to Teams later this year, and such features can be live translations, and transcripts which will automatically generated and made available to Team users once the meeting is finished.
According to some reports, Microsoft Whiteboard is also expected to get some enhancements inside Microsoft Teams. With the addition of new enhancements, it will load faster along with more other options like sticky notes, drag and drop abilities too. These features are expected to be roll out later this year.
If you have Teams and using Tasks app, it’s too will get some enhancements. Later this month, you can expect to get access to a unified view of tasks across Microsoft To do, Planner and Outlook. Also, there will be more smart lists such as “Assigned to me” along with a new list views.
And at last, the Microsoft has added suggested replies to Teams this month later. Thus, whenever you want to respond to a message, the Teams will use Automatic Intelligence to suggest short responses based on the context of previous messages.
