Prior to the payment, the users are asked to send the affected files (excluded from databases, excel spreadsheets or backups) less than 1 MB in aggregate. The ransom note warns the users not to rename the filenames of the encrypted files as this will lead to permanent damage of the files.

Unfortunately, in usual cases with system infections ransomware virus, the files recovery is not possible without the involvement of the crooks behind it. There might be, if the ransomware has certain flaws/ bugs detected. Regardless of the case, you are highly not recommended to contact/ pay to the crooks under any circumstances. These people are not reliable. They will never provide you the decryption tool even if you fulfill all their demands. Again, click on the “Restart Now” option. The work-station boots to “Advanced Startup Option Menu”. The work-station will now restart in to the “Startup Setting” screen. Next is to press F5 to boot in Safe Mode in Networking.

For Windows 10 Users: Press on Windows logo and on the “Power” icon. In the newly opened menu, choose “Restart” while continuously holding “Shift” button on the keyboard. In the new open “Choose an option” window, click on “Troubleshoot” and then on the “Advanced Options”. Select “Startup Settings” and press on “Restart”. In the next window, click on “F5” button on the key-board.
