Google Dunzo Breached: Data Has Been Hijacked By Yet Unknown Criminals

Google Dunzo, an on-demand deliver startup company has recently announced that its mechanism has been breached by criminals. The information is posted last Saturday which offers more information about the occurred event.

If you are unknown, then Google Dunzo is one of the startups by Google which recently become the subject of being hijacked by attackers. Reportedly, the hackers manage to breach the company, even the information regarding same came from an official statement of the company that clarifies the incident, posted on Saturday. According to the announcement, the Google Dunzo has been breached by unknown hackers and they managed to hijack sensitive information.

Further, the experts have found that the primary reason for intrusion server infiltration which has been found to be at a data center used by the service. As per official statement, it’s said that the server has been used to store sensitive data and probably the contact information of customers. However, the exact vulnerability through which the servers are hacked are not yet known. But, it’s being assumed that the intrusion were tracked and resolved as well to protect the system from further attacks. But, the data which has been stolen previously might be put on sale on underground internet market for making illicit profit by criminals. However, no such incidents are reported so far.

While the intrusion is made, the Dunzo officials were able to trace the data hijacked by hackers, however no payment related information has been leaked, thanks to used mechanism which stores such information temporarily on server during payment process. Means, the data which are just exposed currently are email addresses and contact numbers of victims.
