Get Windows 10 20HZ October 2020 update before anyone else
Microsoft officially announced that it will begin rolling out the Windows 10 October 2020 update to customers in October. It will include a few new features like a visually refreshed Start menu, improved notifications, preinstalled Chromium Edge browser and the ability to ALT+ Tab through Edge tabs. Also, it will bring more of the features from Control panel into the modernized settings page.
The company is making the test build available today for insiders in the Release Preview Channel. They stated, the build 19042.508 is the final build and still plan on continuing to improve the overall experience of the October 2020 update.
Microsoft is also beginning to roll out the October 2020 update automatically for insiders who are in the Beta Channel. For those who had not chosen the install of the October 2020 update previously – they will be offered it via Windows update.
So, the easiest way to download and install the next feature is to join the Windows Insider program and enroll in the Release Preview Ring. Then, use the Windows update settings app in the Windows 10 to download the Windows 10 20Hz bits from Microsoft‘s servers.

Open Start menu
- Access Settings page through clicking on Cog icon
- After this, negative to Update & Security > Windows Insider Program

- Link your Microsoft account and get into the Release Preview channel by selecting ‘Just fixes, apps, and drivers’ option
