End of Service for Windows 10 1803 is scheduled to next year
Microsoft announced today the change the end of service data for the Enterprise, Education and IoT Enterprise editions for Windows 10, version 1803. The decision is taken by taking into account of the current public health situation.
Chris Morrissey from Microsoft said, “We have heard your feedback and understand your need to focus on business continuity in the midst of the global pandemic. As a result, we have decided to delay the scheduled end-of-service date for the Enterprise, Education, and IoT Enterprise editions of Windows 10, version 1803.”
The next scheduled data is being pushed back to May 11, 2021. This means, from May 11, 2021, the devices running Windows 10, 1803 Enterprise, Education and IoT Enterprise editions will continue receiving the monthly security updates through Windows Update, Windows Server Update Services and the Microsoft Update Catalog.
Home and Pro editions of Windows 10 1803 have already reached their end of service back on 12th of Nov, 2019. Before this, the Microsoft displayed a message in the Windows Update dialogue recommending users to upgrade to the latest feature update.
Other major products will be reached end of the service by next year. The company will stop providing any technical support and release any bug fixes for any discovered issues and security fixes once the end of the service of these products have reached.

Customers who are using the end of service software are urged to upgrade the program to the latest cloud or on-premise versions.
