Remove PC Accelerator from computer

Simple steps to delete PC Accelerator

PC Accelerator is undesirable software that comes to the system without user’s permission, most often bundled with freeware through web downloader’s and installers. It is very useful program that allows you to optimize and speed up your system. It also checks the status of your registry, cluttered hard drives and much more. Usually, all this seems wonderful but in fact it is one of the potentially unwanted programs that cause lots of troubles.

Moreover, such apps promises to address Windows errors, eliminate the junk files, update drivers automatically, protect the system from crashes and ensure steady performance. Since the whole pack of functions is not free of charge. Users can only install trial version for free which will analyze the PC but won’t fix anything. In simple words, we can say that this is a scam. The entire list of issues is false.

It only tricks its users into believing that the system needs serious maintenance and urge to purchase a license of a tool. As soon as its free trial version is installed, it launchers its scanners. Typically, it finds thousands of files, registries entries and app as problematic and indicates lots of errors. In one way or another, you should uninstall PC Accelerator and do not pay for full version.

As mentioned earlier in the first paragraph, this app infiltrate into the system without users knowledge. It is possible that it will install along with other programs. In most cases, after installation PUPs do three things, firstly display advertisements (adware), secondly modify web browser settings (browser hijacker) and lastly gather various information relating to users browsing habits.  Therefore, we advised you to eliminate PC Accelerator and all installed PUPs as early as possible.

How did PUAs install on my system?

Potentially unwanted programs come bundled with other software. Typically, such programs invade into the system without user’s knowledge. However, we can say that the main reasons for such penetrations are carelessness of users. Developers do not disclosed these installation properly as they hide bundled apps within custom or advanced settings of download or installation processes. At the time of installation of free software, people do not read terms and conditions that might contain a consent to install PUP. This behavior often leads into the inadvertent installation of potentially unwanted programs. These applications also distributed by using intrusive advertising. Those ads redirect to unreliable websites and run scripts that stealthily download and install malware or PUPs. This happens when such ads are clicked.

How to prevent intruding unwanted apps?

As you know earlier that the main reasons for system infections are poor knowledge and careless behavior of users. To avoid infiltration of PUPs and other dubious malware, you need to be very careful while browsing the internet and downloading/installing software. During installation of any program, carefully examine each step by using custom or advanced settings and opt out all additionally included programs.

It is not safe to download software from third party downloader, unofficial pages and so on as they are often monetized by using bundling methods. So, we recommend to download files and programs by using official websites as well as through direct links. Avoid clicking on ads that seem legitimate but redirect to other dubious websites. If you encounter these redirects then immediately delete all dubious applications.
