Reading through the ransom message, it can be seen divided in two sections named “JOKE” and “SERIOUSLY”. In the first section, the note just includes details of victim’s poor knowledge and urges them to take cyber security lessons, while the second section provides users regarding encryption measures used by the ransomware. It mention that all files on computer has been encrypted by .LOL file virus using asymmetric ciphers, and the affected files can be restored or recovered only by supplying a unique decryption key. Unfortunately, this is correct as well and the users will surely require the decryption keys to get their files back into accessible form.
